Qualifications

Funding

The Federal Government and State Governments provide funding sources that are available to employers to assist in training their staff.

The main sources of funding are as follows:

  • Commonwealth Government Employer Incentives*
    The Commonwealth Government may provide funding upwards of $4000 per employee who undertake certain qualifications. This funding is available though an Australian Apprenticeship Centre.
  • State Government User Choice Funding*
    Hopwood Integrated Training holds contracts with the Queensland and New South Wales Governments to deliver training for employers with eligible staff. User Choice will fund the majority of the costs associated with the training. Please note that both Federal and User Choice funding may be attracted by each individual staff member undertaking training.

  • Productivity Places Program (PPP)*
    There are a range of funding programs through the PPP that are constantly changing. If you would like more information on the PPP or Enterprised Based Productivity Places Program (EBPPP), please contact Hopwood Integrated Training on (07) 3208 0753 or training@hopwoodgroup.com.au.

Training Delivery

The majority of training will be delivered in your workplace at a time that is suitable for your company.

The training consists of both theoretical and practical elements that relates specifically to your industry. Theory training utilises a classroom environment and our trainer will accompany the trainee in their day-to-day working environment to undertake practical training and assesment.

We have hand-selected our staff to conduct the best possible training in a highly professional manner.  They are required at a minimum to hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as relevant qualifications pertaining to the particular specialisation they train within.

Our trainers are highly experienced in their respective fields, and have worked within these industries so we can understand your needs as an employer and better relate to your staff.

Road Transport - Bus & Coach

Certificate III in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport) - Bus & Coach

Hopwood Integrated Training has been training within the Passenger Transport Industry for many years now and are very confident that we can supply a quality training solution to urban and long distance bus and coach operators.

Certificate III in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage)

This qualification can be utilised as an entry level qualification for new comers to the Transport and Logistics Industry or to recognise and upgrade the skills of individuals who have been working within the industry for a number of years.

Staff undertaking this qualification may provide a cost effective solution to training and licensing your workers to operate Forklifts and Orderpickers. Hopwood Integrated Training is one of only a few RTO's in Queensland that are authorised to issue Orderpicker licenses.
