Basic Fatigue Management accreditation still allows operators to work 14 hour shifts, but offers greater flexibility for operators to schedule work and rest periods, providing the process is properly managed.
To meet the new legislation operators need to comply with the Basic Fatigue Management standards. All drivers are required to undergo training and / or assessment to receive a Statement of Attainment in Apply Fatigue Management Strategies (TLIF2010A)
